Abstract

This research aims to 1) describe the factors that influence changes in the character of courtesy students at SDN Ngabeyan 3, 2) the efforts of teachers in the planting characters of manners on the students in learning at SDN Ngabeyan 3. This researchis qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of data collection techniques interviews, observation and documentation. An examination of the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. Technique of data analysis consists of a reduction of data, exposure data and the withdrawal of the conclusion. Based on the results of the research can be drawn the conclusion that 1)there are several factors that affect changes in students ' manners i.e. the environment, lack of attention to the elderly, technological advances, the soap opera in telivisilacking in accordance with elementary school children. 2) The school imparts some activities that can form and maintain an attitude of courtesy of students, these activities include: Duha prayer routine, before entering the classroom with the teacher, shook hands Friday with carrying out religious prayers Duha simultaneously, it is filled with exhausted reading the short letters, get used to shake hands with the teacher before entering the classroom, as well as provide referrals or messages about manners to students before the lesson begins.
