Abstract

The rapid capital market development currently creates some opportunities and alternative for investor. On the other hand, the company should be compete to get fund from the investor. The company can get some fund by raising and selling some stock to investor in capital market. Related with the problem that is raised, the purpose of this research is provide empirical evidence concerning the effect of Current Ratio, Leverage Ratio, Inventory Turnover, and Operating Profit Margin to the change in profit in automotive and components company. The object population of this research are automotive and components company listed on BEI and reported in Indonesian Capital Market Directory from 2011 to 2015, 5 company sample result by purposive sampling technique. Tools of data analysis used in this study is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the result and study, it can generalized that : (1) Current Ratio has positive influence and significant to the changes in profit, (2) Leverage Ratio has positive influence and significant to the changes in profit, (3) Inventory Turnover hasn’t positive influence and significant to the changes in profit, and (4) Operating Profit Margin has positive influence and significant to the changes in profit.
