Abstract

Wood is one of Indonesia's natural resources which becomes an element of construction that is easily available and available in relatively large quantities. In the construction section, wood is widely used in every building function from preparation to finishing. Adapaun this research aims to know the value of solid / whole wood quality test results in laboratory with wood quality based on SNI 7973-2013. Types of tests performed include compressive strength testing, tensile strength, shear strength, and flexural strength. Each test object amounted to 3 pieces for 1 variation of wood. wood used there are 5 types, namely wood Sengon, Bangkirai, Kruwing, Kamper, and Nangka from Solo Raya. Based on testing the quality code of each wood tested is : Sengon = 8800,29 MPa; kayu Bangkirai = 14188,24 MPa; kayu Kruwing = 10927,38 MPa; kayu Kamper = 11155,92 MPa; dan kayu Nangka = 10137,08 MPa. Value of wood compresive strength : Sengon = 6,11 MPa; Bangkirai = 15,37 MPa; Kruwing = 10,52 MPa; Kamper = 7,16 MPa; Nangka = 6,97 MPa. Value of tensile strength of wood : Sengon = 117,11 MPa; Bangkirai = 280,77 MPa; Kruwing = 148,46 MPa; Kamper = 197,15 MPa; Nangka = 117,4 MPa. Wood shear strength value : Sengon = 8,77 MPa; Bangkirai = 14,12 MPa; Kruwing = 12,17 MPa; Kamper = 8,51 MPa; Nangka = 12,12 MPa. Value of strong bending wood : Sengon = 47,14 MPa; Bangkirai = 127,23 MPa; Kruwing = 76,4 MPa; Kamper = 71,57 MPa; Nangka = 71,85 MPa. The value of percentage comparison of compressive strength test between wood tested in the laboratory against the reference strength of SNI 7973: 2013: Sengon = 101,43%; Bangkirai = 135,93%; Kruwing = 132,78%; Kamper = 87,16%; Nangka = 98,81%. The percentage value of the tensile strength test ratio between the woods tested in the laboratory against the reference strength of SNI 7973: 2013: Sengon = 1945,14%; Bangkirai = 2483,18%; Kruwing = 1874,53%; Kamper = 2398,91%; Nangka = 1665,03%. The percentage value of comparison of shear strength test between timber tested in laboratory to the reference strength of SNI 7973: 2013 Sengon = 1104,88%; Bangkirai = 937,10%; Kruwing = 1157,99%; Kamper = 780,57%; Nangka = 1278,72%. The percentage value of the comparison of bending strength test between the woods tested in the laboratory against the reference strength of SNI 7973: 2013: Sengon = 695,29%; Bangkirai = 991,99%; Kruwing = 847,63%; Kamper = 766,75%; Nangka = 890,97%.
