Abstract

The shift of parental choice of education among Indonesian Muslim medium became an interesting theme among Indonesian Muslim academics after the New Order. Shifting parental choice of education occurs when middle class parents Indonesian Muslims prefer to send their children in schools with a strong Islamic basic, such as Muhammadiyah and Islamic schools integrated, compared with public schools. This fact is inversely proportionate to the previous few decades when middle-class parents were more proud of sending their children to schools that did not have basic religious values. Based on the formulation or limitation of the problem proposed in this study, the method of this study is descriptive qualitative. This research method is able to reveal various qualitative information with a nuanced descriptive. Thus the result will be more meaningful than the question or frequency in the form of a mere questionnaire.The purpose of this study was to describe the perception of the Muslim middle class in Sragen Masaran Integrated SD Muhammadiyah school year 2016/2017 and to analyze trends middle-class perceptions of Muslims in the area around SD Muhammadiyah Integrated Masaran Sragen 2016/2017 school year. Perception of the middle-class Muslims on the quality of SD Muhammadiyah Integrated very positive, because the existence of SD Muhammadiyah Integrated in the judgment of the middle class Muslims who are about to have a positive role towards the establishment of a good attitude towards society middle class Muslims around SD Muhammadiyah Integrated in the form of community activities and religious. The tendency of the middle class perceptions of Muslims in the area around SD Muhammadiyah Integrated Masaran very high, proven many activities undertaken in the field of social teachers and keaagamman be accepted by all Muslim middle class people around the Integrated SD Muhammadiyah. Based on the results of the data show that the perception of Development Evaluation of SD Muhammadiyah every year is positive as much as 22 peopleand the remaining 4 peoplenegatively.
