Abstract

This study aims to test empirically the relationship between achievement motivation and social support parents with the burnout student learning. These samples included 103 students consisting of class X, XI and XII MA Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta selected using random cluster sampling. Research measuring instrument using a scale of achievement motivation, parental social support scale, and scale burnout learning. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed no significant relationship between achievement motivation and social support parents with the burnout of student learning. Results of correlation analysis showed there was a significant negative correlation between achievement motivation and burnout student learning and there is a significant negative relationship between social support parents with the burnout of student learning. Effective contribution to achievement motivation and social support for parents to learn saturation of 57.2% to 42.8% are other factors that affect of burnout student learning. The research subjects have burnout levels of learning and achievement motivation were classified as moderate, and social support of parents is high. The results of this study conclude that achievement motivation has a strong predictor of learning saturation. While social support parents have no predictors on the saturation of learning.
