Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine differences in adolescent dating behavior in terms of interaction parenting parents and the origin of school. The hypothesis (1) there are differences in adolescent dating behavior in terms of interaction parenting style and the origin of school, (2) there are differences in adolescent dating behavior in terms of parenting style of interaction, (3) there is a difference in adolescent dating behavior in terms of origin school. Subjects in this study amounted to 170 people, students from 6 high schools in Surakarta who are dating. Sampling technique conducted in this research is saturated sample technique. Methods of data collection using Dating Behavior Scale and Parenting Style Scale. Data analysis was performed by two way anova analysis, and crosstab from SPSS. Based on the results of data analysis for the hypothesis (1) obtained sig. = 0.859 (p> 0.05) means no significant difference in adolescent dating behavior in terms of interaction parenting style of parents and school origin, hypothesis (2) obtained sig. = 0,932 (p> 0,05) meaning that there is no significant difference of adolescent dating behavior in terms of parenting style interaction, hypothesis (3) obtained sig. = 0,130 (p> 0,05) means that there is no significant difference in adolescent dating behavior in terms of origin of school.
