Abstract

Water is the basic necessity of every living being. In karst areas, dryness because of dry season found in many time. Water utilization in karst area is less to the maximum effort because of terrain is difficult, also thats have some high risk condition. Therefore this study are for bring the water up to the ground from underground river is by rainwater harvesting method, this is for make maximum effort to get the potential of water resources available in that area. The research method used is quantitative. The data used among some parameters there are: discharge of water cave, rain data, population, map of cave, RBI map. Calculation for discharge of water cave of underground river is using Harvesting Method, calculation of how often that rain is using Arthmatic Average Method, calculation of the rain intensity is using Mononbe Formula, and calculation of pump is using Sularso Formula 1987. Based from the analysis results, obtained storage design is 5m x 5m x 3m with capacity 75 m3 and 49 m2 of calculation area. The volume of rainwater got is 58.2 m3/year, the volume of underground rivers can be lifted is 21611.6 m3/year. The total of the two supply is 21669.8 m3/year. While the growth of population is 0.31% every single year with the requirement of fresh water are reaches about 105353,6 m3/year. It means that the fresh cant be served about 21% from the total requirement.
