Abstract

Sri Yanti, Q 100 150 060, "The Contribution of Parenting Pattern Care, Teacher Competencies and School Culture to Characters’ Students of Sixth Grade of Elementary School in Cluster I and II UPT Education Distrct Serengan Surakarta City." Master of Education Management, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 2017. The aims of the study are : 1) To now the amount of positive contribution and significant parenting pattern to the character of elementary school students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City 2) To know the amount of positive contribution and significant competence of teachers to the character of elementary school students of sixth grade in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City 3) To know the magnitude of positive and significant contribution of school culture to the character of elementary school students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City 4) To know the magnitude of the positive contribution and significant pattern of upbringing people parents, teachers' competence, and school culture on the character of Primary Sixth Grade students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City. The research is a descriptive quantitative. The population of sixth grade students of Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City as many as 400 students with a sample of 100 respondents and sampling techniques using nonprobability sampling with quota techniques. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to collect data on parenting patterns of parents, school culture, and student character. Prerequisite test using normality test, linearity test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heterokedastisity test. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression and statistical analysis simultaneously with F test and partially using t test. The results of the study have shown that : 1) There is a positive and significant contribution of parenting pattern to the character of elementary school students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City of 12.43% 2) There is a positive contribution and significant competence of teachers to the character of sixth grade elementary school students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City 9.81% 3) There is a positive and significant contribution of school culture to the character of elementary school students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City by 10.48% 4) There is a positive and significant contribution of parenting pattern, teacher competence, and school culture to the character of sixth grade elementary students in Cluster I and II UPT Education District Serengan Surakarta City 32.73%.
