Abstract

Miftakhul Jannah Grogol Mosque, Cangkol is one of the mosques located in Cangkol urban area that has several activities, including the activities of Taman Pendidikan Alquran (TPA) for old age. This old TPA activity is designed to facilitate parents in studying the Quran and practice it. In addition, the implementation of TPA Tua also has another purpose, namely that parents can provide motivation or encouragement to their children to follow TPA Anak which is also held by takmir mosque Miftakhul Jannah. In the implementation, TPA Anak has several obstacles, namely the lack of teaching staff, the lack of keistiqomahan santri in following the landfill. Based on the background then the formulation of the problem in this thesis is how the effectiveness of TPA Tua, how the implementation of TPA child and how efforts made TPA Tua in order effectiveness of TPA Anak. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of TPA Tua, describe the implementation of TPA Anak and describe the efforts of TPA Tua in the effectiveness of TPA Anak. This research includes field research with qualitative approach. The data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the method of data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis, that is in the form of narration or paragraph and not in the form of numbers, by through the process of data collection, data reduction, and display data. Further drawn the conclusion by using inductive method that is started from field to field. Based on the analysis of data from the results of the study concluded that the implementation of TPA Tua has been effective, it is characterized by: 1) the achievement of the goal, 2) the delivery of the material well 3) the existence of a competent and patient ustadz. While the implementation of TPA Anak, not so good, this is marked by 1) the lack of duration of learning time, 2) the absence of ustadz and ustadzah are fixed, and 3) lack of keistiqomahan santri in following the landfill. Meanwhile, the efforts of TPA Tua make effectiveness of TPA Anak 1) to teach the Children the obligation to obey Allah and His Messenger, 2) practice reading Al Quran first started from family environment, 3) raising fund for operational cost of TPA Anak. And the methods used are: method of habituation, exemplary methods, methods of advice, and methods of punishment and reward.
