Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out : 1). the relation between lonellines and internet addiction for adult, 2). the role of lonellines to internet addiction, 3). the level of lonellines, 4). the level of internet addiction. The hypothesis of this research shows that there is a relation positive between lonellines and internet addiction for adolescence .Subjects of this research is 50 adolescence 15 until 18 years old. Instrument used on this research are lomellines scale and internet addiction scale. The technique for analysis of this research is product moment. In conclusion there is positive relation between lonllines and internet addiction for adolescence. The results of data analysis shows that the correlation coefisien is (r) = 0,246 with sig 0,004 (p<0,05). The empirical average of lonellines 58,54 and hypothetical average is 70 which means that the lonellines is low. Meanwhile, the empirical average of internet addiction is 93,8 and hypothetical average is 102,5 which means that the internet addiction is high. The role lonellines for internet addiction is 6,5 % which means there are 93,5 % other variables beyond lonellines that can affect in internet addiction.. Keyword : Addiction, Internet, Lonellines
