Abstract

The government as the stakeholder is responsible to manage the waste properly. The target of policy and strategy of waste management in Sragen Regency is set forth in Sragen Sanitation Strategy Document 2015. The aim of this research is to determine the priority of waste management service area, to know the projection of population growth and waste generation in the plan of waste management service area, and to know the optimization of waste management infrastructure planning according to the policy target of Sragen Regency medium term waste management policy. The research type is quantitative descriptive research with the data used is secondary data. This research uses linier programming model to complete optimization of waste management infrastructure planning in Sragen Regency until 2026. The objective of optimization is to minimize operational and routine maintenance cost of the infrastructures with target constraint according to operational strategy of waste management in every sub-district. Based on the result of optimum solution of waste management infrastructure planning model in 2026 with projected population of 870.221 people and the amount of daily waste generation 2.393 m3 required 450 units of garbage cart, 8 units of garbage motor, 18 units waste container capacity of 6 m3, 31 units of temporary shelter (TPS), 46 units 3R waste treatment plant (TPS3R), 12 units arm roll truk, and 63 units of dump truk capacity of 10 m3 with annually operational and maintenance cost Rp.30.300.580.120,-.
