Abstract

Landslide is the movement of the soil mass or rocks down the slope through the slip plane. Landslide is one form of mass movement of land or masswasting that often occurs in the research area, namely Karangtengah Sub-District of Wonogiri. The research objectives were to: (1) analyze the degree of landslide hazard in Karangtengah Sub-district, Wonogiri Regency, and (2) to determine the spread of landslide in Karangtengah Sub-district of Wonogiri Regency. Data used in the form of slope, rainfall, land use, soil depth, weathering of rocks, soil structure and soil texture. The method used is the attestation, weighting and scoring parameter of hazard level of landslide. The analysis used is spatial analysis with weighted tiered quantitative approach. Weighting based on the magnitude of the effect of parameters on the occurrence of landslide. The result of the research is the classification of landslide hazard level in Kecamatan Karangtengah consisting of three classes, namely low, medium, and high. The extent of the landslide hazard includes: (1) Villages of Temboro, Ngambarsari, Jebglogan, Karangtengah, and Purwoharjo, moderate landslide hazard area of 6045,03 ha, (2) Some villages of Ngambarsari, Jebglogan, Karangtengah, and Purwoharjo, with high landslide hazard level of 2402,82, and (3) a small part of Temboro village with low landslide hazard area of 148,15 ha.
