Abstract
The research aims at identify errors which made by students to solve system of linear equations of two variabels in terms of five levels SOLO taxonomi problems thus errors can be minimized and mathematics learning achievement can be improved. The type of this research is qualitative research. The data were collected by test, interviews, and documentation. The result of this research shows: (1) level prestructural is 35,78%, level Unistructural is 10,52%, level multistructural is 6,31%, level relational is 14,73%, and level extended abstract is 32,63%. (2) There are 3 factors causing students to solve system of linear equations of two variabels operation problem arestudents do not understand the problem, the students are less rigorous and the students are in a hurry to do the problem . (3) The solution can be done to minimize students’ errors is make the language more communicative, applying cooperative teaching learning.
