Abstract

model to the 8th grade student of SMP Negeri 1Bawen year 2016/2017 tesis. Adviser 1 Dr. Sumardi, M.Si:, Adviser 2: Dr. Achmad Fathoni, M.Pd. Magister Administration Post Graduate Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. This research has purpose to develop and the effe ctiveness of “Ayo Balik” science lesson model on 8th grade students of SMP N 1 Bawen. This research is the development of make a match cooperative learning model. The method in this research is Research and Development.The data sources for this research are the head master, the science techer and the students. The analysis used is descriptive analysis there are two result for this research. The first one is the development of “Make a Match” learning model.Both of the research have match answers.The difference is, in “make a match” the student a divided into two groups, the holder of the question cards and the holders of the answer.The way they play is that each student independently friend his/ her patner.In “Ayo Balik’model, the student are divided in small groups and when they have to match the answer they should discuss with in their groups. This model is easy to make, easy to copy, cheap and easy to use. However the weakness is teacher should be ready and prepare well with lesson learning tool. The second result on effectivity score in limited test I is 70 and classical completeness is 50% increasing to 76.67 and in limited test II is increasing to 85.63 and the completeness is 100% in broads test. This result has achieved minimal completeness criteria which 75. The activity score on limited test I is 77.083 which is in active category (60-79), the score is increasing it becomes 79.167 on limited tes II which is in active category (60-79). In broad test the score is 83.33 which is in very active category (≥ 80). with T-test using SPSS the significantscore between pre-test and post-test is 0.000 < 0.05 so thereisa significant diferennce in study result between pre test and post-test. There “Ayo Balik” science lesson is proven effective to be used in science lesson learning.
