Abstract

The function of the mosque ideally is as the center of Islamic activities, not just a place of worship alone. Islamic studies, book review and discussion places are commonly held in mosques. In this digital age, it is undeniable that access to information is so easy. To support the activities of the mosque as a center of activity, it is necessary a website that can be accessed by everyone and speed up the dissemination of information. Baitus Syukur is one of the mosques that stand on a strategic land adjacent to campus, boarding house and residents. The author sees an opportunity and specializes to create a website of Baitus Syukur mosque so that information can be easily accessed by the community. Website creation using wordpress focuses on providing information relating to Baitus Syukur mosque. This website consists of pages containing profiles of mosques such as history, profiles and stewardship. Then the information of routine study, the schedule of priests and prayers of the mosque of Baitus Syukur Mosque. The author conducted a test website by conducting interviews to the board and the general public. According to the mosque’s board, existence of this website is very helpful for dissemination of information. according to general public, this website is very helpful for pilgrims to know the schedule of studies and activities related to the Baitus Syukur mosque.
