Abstract

Paving block is the base material of cement used as concrete brick material covering several series in m² for each seller, paving block has many variations of shape, color, quality and strength. in normal concrete compressive strength in each study improve the quality and quality of each study in order to improve the quality of normal concrete, from this study in the hope to know the average value of compressive strength on the paving block of some variation of the addition with fiber-added materials type polymeric fiber polypropylene (high quality plastics) from several variations in comparison between 0% s / d 5%.From the test results, the compressive strength of paving bock was ob¬tained by compressive strength of 35,140 MPa with 0% mixed additives, in the second ex¬periment stage with the addition of 1.25% fiber fiber (polypropylene) paving block increased by 36.720 MPa, there is a differ¬ence in the addition of fiber in the paving block, in the mixing of fiber (plastic) the influence of compressive strength and the difference with normal con¬crete (search based on compari¬son) because of the flexural strength in the fibrous concrete tensile fiber has more power and power with the leverage has its binding and homogeneous properties are in search of whether it makes any difference to normal concrete with its brittle nature. and quality in the long term compared with other materials (wood ash, coconut fiber, husk ash).
