Abstract

Background Objective Structured Clinical Assessment (OSCA) is effective use for evaluating the competence of the students with some the coverage of the material such as the evaluation of the knowledge, comunication skills, physical examination, interpret and analyze the diagnosis, diagnostic result make diagnosis, but it can also cause anxiety that would aftect the result of the evaluation students. Objective this research seek to present relathionship between the anxiety level in conducting OSCA with evaluation result student nursing. Methods this research is a quantitative with survey cohort method, sample use 57 reguler nursing students from the first semester and use the technique of sample accidental sampling. Instrument use State Trait Anxiety Innventory (STAI) quisioner to score the level of anxiety and result of students doing OSCA, it was analyze by Rank Spearman. Result this study anxiety of student most of the anxiety is very high (49,4%) with the highest evaluation result are shown with straight A (59,6%). The result of the rank spearman p=0,290 (p>0,05). Conclusion there is no meaningfull relationship between anxiety level with the result of the evaluation of collage students.
