Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this paper to identify a problem in Syariah Hotel Solo on five departments (Sales and marketing, Front Office, Housekeeping, Restaurant and Kitchen) and give recommendation to solve the problem. Give information to reader about Syariah Hotel Solo. Design/methodology/approach – This study employs a qualitative research and interview to collect all information and data. Questioners are distributed to 3 respondents in each department. Findings – The results showed the problem in each department, marketing strategy and Standard Operational Procedure in each department. Relationship each department and how to maintain the loyalty of guest. Originality/value – This study showed the problem in each department. Finally companies should improve their strategy by using recommendation alternatives as their strategy to get customer sympathy and rise credibility of company.
