Abstract

Introduction: Motivation is a drive both internal and external about the will that causes a person to do a goal to achieve the goal to be addressed. High motivation is needed for students in completing the final task in the study, the thesis. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between student motivation with the completion of the final task. Research Method: This research is quantitative research which is useful descriptive kotelatif using cross sectional approach. This research was carried out in the campus area of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with the number of samples of 51 students of Nursing S1 class of 2015 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Sampling in this study using the total sampling method by means of observation using demographic data and motivational questionnaires. Conclution: This study concludes the level of student motivation in completing the task is very for the interest itself in preparing and completing the task with the gender results show the average respondent female type, students can complete the thesis on time, have a GPA above 3.00, students can complete the exact thesis time, students do standard consultation that is more than 6 times.
