Abstract

Sine market is located in the center of Sine District Ngawi Regency and it becomes farming distributor center to Sine area and surrounding. Many activities around the market are office and school. There is no enough parking area causing cars parking on the road and the motorcycles parking on the pedistrian area. It causes traffic jam in front of the market. The study aims to plan area of off street parking by analyzing demand off-street parking around the market. The parameter searched are: parking volume, the mean of parking duration, planned area width. The survei is conducted on market day and non-market day by collecting primary and secondary data. The result of the analysis shows that the number of motorcycles parking volume on the market day are 212 vehicles, while the motorcycles parking on non-market day are 89 vehicles, and the highest mean is 93.8 vehicles. The car parking volume on the market day are 46 vehicles, and on the non-market day are 16 vehicles, and the highest mean achieves 10.4 vehicles. The highest mean of motorcycles parking duration is on the market day is 56.53 minutes, and the lowest is 42.89 minutes. The highest mean of car parking duration on the market day is 130.05 minutes and the lowest is 105.00 minutes. The planned parking area has width of 875 m², with the length is 35 meters and wide is 25 meters. Of several alternatives, it is chosen one alternative involving demand of 17 SRP for car and 119 SRP for motorcycle.
