Abstract

Abstract Online Games in Southeast Asia is becoming a new phenomenon and in Indonesia alone online games are in great demand by teenagers in big cities. DotA is one of the online games that are often played by gamers in Indonesia. In this study found that online game players DotA 2 associated with the length of play time has interpretation value of Pearson correlation test results in data analysis get significance value p <0.05 which means there is a significant correlation between the length of play with social behavior (p = 0.022 ) the value of the correlation coefficient (r) obtained in this study is 0.773 which shows that the correlation coefficient is moderate. Playing online is not a problem, but as a student it must be able to sort and observe the time to remain sociable in the real world, not to fall into the danger of addicted negative effects of online gaming.
