Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perception on health, safety, environmental friendliness and animal welfare and product quality on the intention to purchase organic food products. Hypothesis testing in this research using moderating regression analysis tool with t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The population of this research is Student Management Studies Program Faculty of Economics and Business University muhamadiyah Surakarta. The sample in this research is 100 students of Management Studies Program Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas muhamadiyah Surakarta with convenience sampling as sampling technique. Based on the results of the research note that the perception on health significantly influence the intention to purchase organic food products. Perceptions on security have a significant effect on the intention to purchase organic food products. Perceptions on environmental health and animal welfare have a significant effect on the intention to purchase organic food products. Perceptions on product quality significantly influence the intention to purchase organic food products.
