Abstract

Electricity is a basic human need in modern era. In the distribution of electrical energy from the power plant is inseparable from the existence of disturbances caused by many factors then required protection system equipment. One of the protection system equipment installed on the transformer is the Over Current Relay (OCR) which is the relay used for the upper 2 phase minimum disturbance. OCR relay settings need to be considered the time required, so as not to be disturbed from the system in the disturbed area just to be selective. The method used in setting relay at 150kV substation is to find transformer parameter data and relay data arrangement based on system guide along with 20kV 20kV transformer protection in 2016 at PT PLN (Persero), then simulated using ETAP 12.6.0 & ISA TDMS 6.5.1 to know the coordination of working time between the 20kV feeder side, 20kV entry, or 150kV side. The result of the simulation that happened when the disturbance occurred on the repeater of 2396A rele worked with time 1.18s on 20kV repeater, while at incoming 20kV working time of 12,4s relay, and at 150kV side relay work with time 17,2s.
