Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the internalization of the values of Islamic education on the development of children. This research is based on the urgency of Islamic religious education to form the mental personality of children in the early age. It is expected that students can grow into a consistent man in running the Shari'ah of Islam so as to form a mental advancement in a modern era. Some things that concern today are the decline in the values of character, this is marked by the moral damage of the young generation, ranging from brawling students, murder, free sex and others. Various efforts are made to overcome moral decadence such as the internalization of Islamic religious education in the educational environment. SD Muhammadiyah Kriyan Jepara is a leading Muhammadiyah Persyarikatan school that won and won public trust. SD Muhammadiyah Kriyan Jepara often incised achievements that can bring the good name of Muhammadiyah education, especially in Jepara. Factors that make researchers interested to examine the SD Muhammadiyah Kriyan Jepara is because it has a superior Human Resources and Islamic character. The Islamic culture applied by teachers and students is able to improve the culture of advancement in the school environment. This research is qualitative research, taking background of SD Muhammadiyah Kriyan Jepara. Methods of data collection are indept interviews, participant observation and documentation. Data analysis was done by descriptive data analysis technique which includes three concurrent activities, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study are 1) Internalization of Islamic religious education values with the planting of theory / science reinforced with the word of Allah and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW; 2) Internalization of Islamic religious education values is done with exemplary stories and wisdom of life; 3) Internalization of Islamic religious education values is done by studying religious and public material that are connected to each other through the synergy of national education curriculum and Kemuhammadiyahan; 4) Internalization of Islamic religious education values is done through the program of habituation of intellectuality, spirituality and humanity.
