Abstract
The purpose of this study is to know and analyze wether there are differences in financial performance using CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), ROA (Return on Asset), ROE (Return on Equity), BOPO (Operating Expecesdevided by National Income), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio). The research used statistical technique in the form of two different test of average (independent sample t-test). The object of research is PT. Bank MandiriSyariah and PT. Bank Mandiri period 2014-2016. The results of research explain that the results of corporate financial performance there is no difference using CAR, LDR, BOPO, which means the financial performance of Islamic banks is better than conventional banks. While the result of the ROA method, ROE there is a significant difference which means that the financial performance of conventional banks is better than the sharia bank.
