Abstract

ABSTRACT Organizational commitment and organizational culture is the factors that can have a negative impact on the psychological employees, which ends in a turnover decision. Hight turnover can take effect in a decrease in productivity. Measuring rate of turnover can be done by measuring the turnover intention. The purpose of this research is to know the corelation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with turnover intention on employees of PT SMART THR SRIWEDARI SOLO. The sampling technique of this study is purposive samplingwith the population of 85 employees and the sample use is 70 employees. The data collection using organizational commitment scale, organizational culture scale, and turnover intention scale. Data is analys by using rank spearman because the data not normal and linear. Analysis techniques use computer program named SPSS 18.00 version. The output of rank spearman analysis, resulted coefficient correlation between organizational commitment and turnover intention is (rxy) = -0,373 dengan sig 0,001 (p<0,01) that mean there is a very significant negative relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention. The higher the organizational commitment by the employee, the lower the turnover intention employee was, and vice versa . Resulted coefficient between organizational culture and turnover intention is (rxy)= -0,054 dengan sig =0,655 (p<0,01) that mean is a very low negative and not significant. So the higher or the lower the organizational culture not influence on turnover intention employee. The forceful corellation between organizational commitment, organizational culture and turnover turnover, give us understanding that turnover can be higher or lower by negative psychologist condition, like organizational commitment and organizational culture.
