Abstract

Abstract Kali Pepe is one of Kali's children from Bengawan Solo River which is located in the center of Surakarta City and used to be a small port of Bengawan Solo trading line. Departure from these facts the researcher wanted to know the general description of Surakarta City especially the part that is close to Gedhe Solo market and develop the potency owned by Kali Pepe which related to the waterfront tourist area in Surakarta City. Innovatively, this study will lead to the design and design of the Kali Pepe waterfront tour around Pasar Gedhe Solo with an emphasis on sustainable architectural concepts.
