Abstract

Household appliances are grouwing in the presence with the excistence of advance technology making homework lighter, one of them is cleaning the dust attached to the floor and housewares. Dust can interfere the breathing and can make thing dirty, so the creation of a vacuum cleaner makes the cleaning precess easier, efficient and simplify the workmanship. The method used in this research is to design the vacuum cleaner using dc motor with renewable energy. The development of vacuum cleaner machines which many encountered in the society still depend on the state electricity company (PLN) as the source. People began switching from electrical energy with fossil fuels to alternative energy utilization of solar energy that is solar panelwith 120 wattpeak in capacity. Accumulator with a voltage of 12 volt in cooper boost up to 27 volts, so that the DC motor can be supplied fromthe voltage of 12 volts to 27 volt and DC motor will spin faster when the supply up to 27 volt. The result of this research is that the vacuum cleaner is able to inhale dust, sand and other dirt,in the potency of 0% 12 volt of voltage 4.8 watt of power up to maximum potency 100% voltage 27 volt with power 23,76 watt.
