Abstract

Diatraction caused by deeper currents in the transmission system lead to a breakdown of power to the load and causing losses in transmission system as well as consumer power losses. One way to over come the interference is by installing a protective device on the transformer. The protective equipment used by the wonogiri substation is an over current relay. Over current relay are magnitudes and thn comparing them with setting values. This study aims to find out more current f lows and calculate the value of setting on more relay current. This method used is to find data parameters, noise current and calculate tripping time each interference. Results of calculation relay arrangement obtained relay working time for 3 zone OCR is on repeater side repeater with least disturbance 3700 A with t = 907 ms and biggest disturbance 8500 A with t = 639 ms, side 20 KV with smallest disturbance 3700 A with t = 2317 ms and biggest disturbance 8500 A with t = 1066 ms, side 150 KV with the smallest disturbance of 3700 A with t = 2967 ms and the largest disturbance of 8500 A with t = 1480 ms.
