Abstract

This study aims to see the level of efficiency differences between conventional banks and sharia banks. The sample used in this research are five conventional bank and five syariah bank. The inputs used are savings, assets, and labor while the ouput is total financing and operating profit. The analysis tool used is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The findings show that from five conventional tires there is one conventional bank is not efficient and four banks have efficient while from five syariah banks there are three syariah banks not efficient and two banks have efficient and there is different efficiency between conventional bank and syariah bank.
