Abstract

Special School (SLB) is an educational institution under the national education department that has a special characteristic to deliver learners into a generation that is knowledgeable, proficient in knowledge and noble character. SLB-D YPAC Surakarta has a role in educating students, families, and life of the nation by organizing special education programs for disabled students with a curriculum that refers to the PSLB of the national education department. The main problem in this research is how the implementation of learning of Islamic Education on students with disabilities in SLB-D YPAC Surakarta and what factors influence learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of learning and to find the factors that affect the learning of Islamic Education in SLB-D YPAC Surakarta.This research is included in qualitative research by describing the data collected as the scope of research and field as the place of research (field research). The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation. All data that has been collected with various techniques arranged, sorted, categorized and categorized so that the theme can be found in accordance with the implementation of learning Islamic education on students with disabilities SLB-D YPAC Surakarta. The researcher concludes that the learning of Islamic Religious Education on students with SLB-D YPAC Surakarta is compatible with the PSLB Directorate of Directorate of National Education and in accordance with the provisions formulated by schools both from planning, implementation which includes objectives, materials and strategies, and evaluation system. Factors inhibiting the learning process of Islamic Religious Education on students with impairment are in internal and extreme factors. Physical limitations make the learning process seem monotonous and less varied. The supporting factor is that this school has a competent teacher in its field according to its graduates who are PGLB graduates, besides that both from the school and the teacher give personal service to each student with disability.
