Abstract
This study aims to describe 1. Inculcate the value of discipline in V Scout class education in SD Negeri 1 Kleco, 2. Inhibiting factors and supporting scouting education in menumbuhkembangkan student discipline through scouting education. This research uses qualitative research type. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity using triangulation. Data were analyzed interactively. The results showed that the discipline in SD Negeri 1 Kleco Surakarta was good enough to refer to how the education is organized through several stages: a.Perencanaan consists of the design of annual activities, monthly, and each meeting, b.Pelaksanaan consist of opening ceremony, message morals, activities, concluding apples, c.Evaluations consist of observations derived from the activities and character of students at the time of scouting education. 2) Inhibiting factors and support for scouting education include a. The inhibiting factor in scouting education in SD Negeri 1 Kleco is the lack of mentor and age of supervisor who is not young anymore, b. Supporting factors in scouting education in SD Negeri 1 Kleco are adequate infrastructure, conducive school environment, support from schools and parents. Keywords: discipline value, scout education
