Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and communication on the performance of KPP Pratama Boyolali employees. The sample used in this research is employees of KPP Pratama Boyolali which amounted to 50 respondents. This sampling technique is a simple random sample method. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, by using SPSS program. From the hypothesis test showed that emotional intelligence (X1) on employee performance have significant influence and communication variable (X2) on employee performance in the absence of significant influence with t count respectively 4,397 and -0,756 to employee performance. The result of determination coefficient shows that the value of R square is 0.694 which means that emotional intelligence and communication have influence toward performance equal to 69,4%
