Abstract

This research was conducted in Ngemplak sub-distric and dominant factors that affect the changes in land use in Ngemplak subdistrict, Boyolali regency in 2004 and 2015.The method used is secondary analysis data and completed with field observation related to landuse change in Ngemplak sub-district. Secondary data that used in this research is dense of population and wide of land use change. Field observation aims to validate land use and map analysis is used to determine the dominant factors affecting land use change. The change of land use in Ngemplak sub-district of Boyolali regency, fresh water decreased by the difference of 16.18, the building increased by the number of +1.37 difference, and the garden decreased by the amount of 75.05, the settlement increased by the number of 36.9 increments, the rice field decreased by the number of difference of 17 , 58, for moorings increased by a difference of 22.7, agriculture fields increased by a difference of 55.10 rainfed lowland decreased 0.02. From the amounts above, the change of land use in District Ngemplak Boyolali District changed from the rice fields into settlements. The dominant factor is the change from rice field to settlement and building. Changes in landuse that occurred in Ngemplak subdistrict, Boyolali regency in 2004 and 2015 is a change of agricultural land into non-agricultural area of 7,799,236 ha with a difference of 315.32 ha.
