Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the code of honesty through honesty canteen, describes the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the code of honesty through honesty canteen, and describe the solutions to overcome the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the code of honesty through honesty canteen (Case Study Honesty Canteen SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta Academic Year 2016/2017). This research is a qualitative descriptive. This research subject is the honesty canteen managers and students of SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. The object of this study is the implementation honesty character through honesty canteen. Data collection techniques in this study, researchers using observation, interview (interview), and documentation. Mechanical validity of the data used in this research is triangulation techniques ngulasi data sources or data collection methods. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) Implementation of the character of honesty through honesty canteen (Case Study Honesty Canteen SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta Academic Year 2016/2017) includes a) upright, not lying, for example, in the words say what, 2) is not cheating , and always follow the regulations. 2) Obstacles encountered in the implementation of the code of honesty through Honesty Canteen (Case Study Honesty Canteen SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta Academic Year 2016/2017, includes the internal factors (from within the students themselves) include a lack of awareness on yourself the benefits and importance of being honest good to yourself or to others, the weakness of their faith that has no fear of sin to the Lord and external factors (external) that includes environmental playmate. 3) Solutions to overcome the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the code of honesty through honesty canteen (Case Study Honesty Canteen SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta Academic Year 2016/2017), covers provide a stimulus in the form of honesty first teacher, a teacher must also be skilled in critical attitude to the problems of students, the consistency of punishment must be enforced to all students who violate the regulations made without exception.
