Abstract

The objective of the study are: (1) the planning of productive practice programme at SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri; (2) implementation of productive practice programme at SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri; (3) the evaluation of productive practice programme at SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri. The type of the study is qualitative and the design is ethnographic research. Subjects of this study are the Principal, the Head of Vocational Programme, teachers and students of SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri. The data is collected through in-depth interview technique, participation observation, and documentation. The data is analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The data is validated using source triangulation and method triangulation. The findings of the research are: 1) The planning of productive practice programme at SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri includes making supervision programme at the beginning of academic year, formulating objectives and targets of the programme, preparing instrument of productive practice programme schedule; 2) the implementation of productive practice programme at SMK Pancasila 1 Wonogiri is that the principal evaluates the teachers through class visit and post-class visit. The teachers are evaluated based on teaching documents and learning activities carried out by the teachers. The head of Skill Competence (K3) has done productive practice programme completely including school facilities, teachers and students. The teachers have carried out teaching and learning theoretically and pratically based on syllabus and lesson plans; 3)Monitoring and Evaluation has been carried out by the Principal in class supervision, administrative supervision, and practice supervision. The head of K3 evaluated from two aspects: 1) evaluating the implementation of productive practice programme; and 2) evaluating school facilities such as the classroom, types of machinery, the equipment and spare parts of the machine, and the use of material. The teachers evaluated the implementation of productive practice programme in terms of: the implementation of teaching learning and evaluating teaching learning.
