Abstract

Tourism sector is a sector that plays an important role especially in the formation of regional economic growth, this study aims to analyze the factors that affect the regional income tourism sector Pacitan Regency, based on literature and previous research note that the variable number of attractions, the number of tourists, and the number of hotel rooms are the factors that affect the regional income of the tourism sector. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data with the observation period 1997- 2013 taken from literature study of Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Journal and previous research. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple liniear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The results showed that the variable number of tourist objects, the number of tourists, the number of hotel rooms significantly influenced the regional income of tourism sector in Pacitan regency at the level of 0.05 significance.
