Abstract

The covenant is a reciprocity, because the covenant is essentially two inseparable angles. between whom the two parties bind themselves to the rights and obligations of the treaty, and vice versa. An agreement must not be harmed. And it is impossible that one party will agree to be harmed by another. This study aims to determine the problematic and legal consequences of Multi Level Marketing agreement between PT. Duta Network Indonesia with Students at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This method of the studyuse empirical law research method. Method of data collection with field study (interview) and literature study then analyzed by qualitative data analysis method. The location of thestudy in the area of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The results of the study on the problems / problems and legal consequences of the MLM agreement on not mentioning the necessary signatures and regulations, a series of deceptions and the existence of a default due to unilateral cancellation.
