Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the policy of law enforcement by judges in deciding cases of criminal acts of violence against women and children with disabilities, to know the implementation of legal protection for women and children with disabilities in the Local Court of Sukoharjo, and to identify barriers to justice for women and children with disabilities in the District Court of Sukoharjo and solution to overcome them. The methods of approach used by the writer are juridical empirical approach. The type of research used by the writer in this study is descriptive research type. The location of research at the District Court of Sukoharjo. This study use primary data and secondary data sources. The methods of collecting data in this study are literature study techniques and field studies. Based on the result of research and discussion can be concluded that the implementation of legal protection for women and children with disabilities in the Local Court of Sukoharjo is to provide discretion or policy in the fulfillment of rights, starting since the victim experiencing violence and also during the victim through legal process.
