Abstract

Employee performance is the quality and quantity of work achieved by employees in accordance with the tasks in the field or profession accompanied by the responsibility to achieve the planning goals of an organization or company. Employee performance is the most important thing in organization or company because it can determine the success or failure of a company to achieve goals. One of the causes is the transformational leadership style. The purpose of this research is to: 1) Know the relationship between transformational leadership style with employee performance, 2) to know the level of employee performance in research subject, 3) to know the level of transformational leadership style on research subject, 4) to know the role of transformational leadership style with employee performance in within the company. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling with the subject of 50 employees of PT. Three Musketeers. This research method using quantitative method and using measuring tools of transformational leadership style as well as employee performance documentation. The data analysis technique used is Kendall's nonparametric correlation technique. Based on the results of data analysis, the result of correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.974 with sig (p) = 0.000 (p <0.01) means there is a very significant positive relationship between transformational leadership style with employee performance, so the hypothesis proved. The effective contribution of both variables is 94.9% indicated by the correlation (r2) of 0.949. This shows that there are 5.1% other variables that affect employee performance in addition to transformational leadership style
