Abstract
ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF COUPLES AGE OF FERTILE (PUS) ABOUT CERVICAL CANCER WITH ACTION INSPECTION VISUAL ACETIC ACID (IVA) AT SELOMERTO HEALTH CENTER WONOSOBO REGENCY. Hafidz Desta Farizal, Sri Wahyu Basuki Faculty of Medicine University Muhammadiyah of Surakarta. Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid Inspection (IVA) is the one of most common and easy to do methods of screening for uterine cervical cancer. The way it works is on smearing acetic acid into the cervix, the surface of the uterus.The uterus is a infected by cancer cells to white. The low knowledges of PUS on cervical cancer and early detection of cervical cancer by IVA method can inhibit the change in human behavior to determine action, because knowledge is related to changes in human behavior. The aim of this study to analysis knowledges level PUS on cervical cancer with IVA examination at Selomerto Wonosobo Community Health Center. The types of this research is quantitative analytical with cross sectional approach. Which was held in March 2017 in Selomerto Health Center areas consis of 14 villages. The target population of fertile couples are 5,889. The method of a purposive sampling obtain a large sample of 46 respondents. The data were tested at 95% confidence interval using Chi Square test. Based on the results of this study can be seen that the relationship of knowledges level of fertile age couple about cervical cancer with action of IVA examination at health clinic selomerto district wonosobo there is significant relation based on result of chi square test found p value = 0,01 (<0,05) It can be seen that respondents who has knowledges less or low perform the action in IVA examination. When respondent with knowledges of cervical cancer in the good category most have done the action IVA examination. The result of this research is the correlation between knowledge level of PUS about cervical cancer on IVA examination at Selomerto Wonosobo Health Center.
