Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological well-being of honorary teachers in Kota Bima. This research uses qualitative-phenomenological method. Informants as many people with the criterion of service period 19-25 years. Result of research: Psychological well-being of local honorary teacher showed; positive self-acceptance and a positive outlook on the journey of his life, able to foster good relationships with others, independent in making decisions regardless of the judgment and results of others, has the ability to adapt to a variety of environments and able to create an environment that is in harmony with his soul, has direction and purpose of life to be achieved, and open to new things and realize the potential for self development to maturity. Factors that affect the psychological well-being of teachers honorer area, namely; (2) age categorization, between <37 years old and age> 40 years, but generally the psychological well-being is relatively the same, except in the dimension of mastery environment, personal goals and growth, (3) income levels, individuals have varying income levels (Rp 300,000, 250,000, 200,000 / monthly or quarterly), but the symptoms of psychological well-being are relatively similar, but informants have additional income to their spouses so as to improve their psychological well-being. Revenue as a local honorary teacher has no significant effect on his psychological well-being, (4) religiosity, things that appear on the aspect of religiosity that is to make religion as the direction and purpose of life, so as to make him feel grateful, patient, patient and accept his own condition.
