Abstract

This research uses approach method with empirical and descriptive juridical method. Sources of data in this study are secondary data and primary data. Results data through interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study to prevent drug curation in prisons class IIA Padang has 2 efforts. The intruders on the main security grounds, the firm action against visitors or assisted citizens who were caught carrying drugs, carrying out routine raids and incidental raids, conducting guidance on every inmate, collecting data on prisoners who have used or involved drug problems, and improving facilities and infrastructure . and repressive efforts are attempts to bulldoze or impose sanctions. Constraints faced by prisons class IIA Padang: facilities and infrastructure and the quality and quality of tbp apparatus penal institutions. Program of drug addicts during undergoing repair program in correctional institution that is: medical rehabilitation of non medical rehabilitation, and stages of rehabilitation after treatment. Users, dealers and dealers are all processed and placed at the same premises in correctional institutions. It has a negative effect, the automatic inmate on the user's embankment (victim) will associate with the dealer and drug dealer so that the recurrence. to the deputy user (victim) in the rehab at the rehabilitation center not in the Prisons.
