Abstract

Field facts show that students generally understand with explanations and examples of questions given by the teacher, but when returning home and want to solve problems that are slightly different from the previous example, students again feel confused and even forget the explanation of the teacher. What these students experience shows that students do not yet have conceptual knowledge. In addition the mathematical learning approach used by teachers is not varied, still rely on conventional learning approach with lecture method. The objectives of the study were to: (1) describe the management of mathematics learning by teachers related to planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning, (2) to describe the development of mathematics learning related to the development of planning, implementation and evaluation of RME-based learning; describe the feasibility of RME-based mathematics learning. Research method of RND development, subject of research of teacher and student. Data collection techniques: interviews, observation, documentation and tests. Research: (1) the management of mathematics learning done by the teacher is expected to know the student's way of thinking, realizing that students have unexpected creativity such as ideas, ideas, should not restrict students' thinking creativity, teachers can also learn from students through problem solving which they create, the teacher should give students the opportunity to explore, develop their ideas, concepts; (2) In the development of RPP through the learning process in students there is an increase in mathematical thinking ability in the field of student contention which is indicated by the result of increasing ability test from each cycle. (3) based on the results of the analysis, the observation shows an increase in value, characteristic change, active, creative, then RME-based mathematics learning method in grade 10 students in SMK YPT 1 Purbalingga worthy to be used in the learning process. Teachers in the development of management teaching if want to improve students' creativity and student learning outcomes, in the learning process teachers should be accustomed to using methods of interest and fun for students, teachers should be more mastering learning materials, learning media, learning methods that can be linked between the material connected in daily life;
