Abstract

Purwodadi Grobogan Land in areas including soil type is not good because in the event of a change of the season between the rainy and dry season is followed by destruction of civilian buildings such as the home floor bubbled, cracks ceramics, broken plate concrete of the terrace House, the descent of the Foundation of the House, as well as the destruction of the highway. Therefore it needs to be done in order that the stabilization function of soil as the insurer load against civilian buildings can be maximum. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of the physical nature and against the mill mechanical soil clays Purwodadi Grobogan, with variations, a mixture of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, and l2%, and with the care of 0 and 4 days on a strong free press test. Physical properties testing soil mixed native and include specific gravity, water content, limits Atterberg, and grain size analysis. Mechanical testing includes unconfined compression test as well as seeking values mudulus elasticity. On the research of the obtained results, soil physical Testing of the original value of the moisture content 11.82 %, heavy type 2.57, LL 84.24 %, PL 33.35 %, SL 28.52 % and PI 50.89 % test physical properties in mixed soil moisture values, heavy type, liquid limit, plasticity Index, and the value of the percentage of passes no. 200 sieve has decreased, whereas on the limits and bounds, plastis shrink up. The original land classification and mixture according to AASHTO entry in Group A-7-5, while according to the native land of USCS entry group CH, and soil mixture was inducted into the MH. Mechanical testing of soil, soil compaction using Standard Proctor maximum dry volume weight gained 1,290 gr/cm2 with optimum water content of 32%, on a ground mixture of rising volume weight maximum dry, with a value of 1,300 gr/cm2 at mix mill 12%, but the value of optimum water content value is likely to be the same i.e. 29%. unconfined compression test the highest value on the mix mill 3%, without the care obtained namely of 311.50 kN/m2, with a time of 4 days of treatment the obtained value of 325.00 kN/m2, and the value of the modulus of elasticity of the highest obtainable on the mix mill 3% without treatment time of 68.5 kN/m2, with a time of 4 days of treatment the obtained value of 89.2 kN/m2.
