Abstract

Radio is one of the media to advertise. Without advertising, the radio will not last long. Advertising is a form of nonpersonal communication that conveys the paid information as desired by a particular institution or company through mass media. The purpose of advertising is to influence audiences to buy a product or service. The formulation of the problem of this research is the implementation of advertising agreement on private radio in Surakarta. the agreement includes the rights and obligations of advertisers and radio and the problems arising in the implementation of commercial advertisement on private radio in Surakarta and how to solve it. The empirical method which is used in this research is approach method. The type of research is descriptive. Methods of data collection are observation, interview and literature study.
