Abstract

Corncob has a nutrient composition consisting of 90.0% dry ingredients; Crude protein 2.8%; 0.7% crude fat; Ash 1.5%; Crude fiber 32.7%; Cellulose 25.0%; Lignin 6.0%; And ADF 32.0%. And 100 grams of corn stalks contain cellulose 45%, 35% pentose and lignin 15%. The purpose of this research is to know the growth of mycelium of F2 mushroom seeds of white oyster mushroom and straw mushroom grown on corncobs and corn stalks. This research uses experimental research method with Completely Randomized Design factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors done in 3 Repetition times. Factor 1 type of media: corn stalk (BA) and corncob (BO). Factor 2 types of mushrooms: oyster mushroom (JT) and straw mushroom (JM). The parameters measured were length, thickness, and dispersion. The results obtained on the growth of the mycelium of F2 straw mushroom and oyster mushroom mycelium was highest on corncob medium 8,7 cm, thick the density is very thick and thick spread evenly, while the result of growth of mycelium seeds F2 oyster mushroom and straw mushroom was lowest on corn stalk media that is 8,1 cm, thickness grows thick evenly, and the dense density is very thick.
