Abstract

Mental disorders will last a lifetime and are chronic. Most likely to relapse, even though they have undergone treatment in psychiatric hospitals. But there is a possibility if later will come back, become victims of deprivation of the stock. This indicates that it is very important that the role and understanding of the family regarding the misconduct of the installation of the statue and the provision of motivation to the family. This study aims to measure the knowledge and subjective norms of the family before and after the promotion of health in the work area Puskesmas Jatinom Klaten District. This research is pre experimental research with one group pre test and post test design. The population of the study were all families of patients in the health center of Jatinom Klaten District as many as 21 people. The samples were 21 people with total sampling technique. The research data collected using questionnaire and data analysis using paired sample t-test. This study concluded There were significant differences in pre test and post test of knowledge and subjective norms of family about prevention of psychological carelessness after receiving health education in family of mental disorder patient in Jatinom Klaten Health Working Area, where post test value is higher than pre test and there are The influence of health education on the knowledge and subjective norms of the family about the prevention of psychiatric patient deprivation in the Working Area of Puskesmas Jatinom Klaten.
