Abstract

Curriculum 2013 is a new curriculum applied in Indonesia as a substitute of School Based Curriculum (KTSP). The process of applying the curriculum 2013 can not be comprehensive to every educational institution. The purpose of this research is to know and describe 1) Planning, implementation and assesment the curriculum 2013 in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, 2) obstacles faced by accounting teacher in implementing curriculum 2013 in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study are all teachers majoring in accounting in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, amounting to 5 people. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the teachers of accounting majors in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta have been working in implementing the curriculum 2013. However, in the implementation, there are still some teachers who are can’t prepare the planning of learning. Teaching activities by teachers are still dominated by conventional models where teachers are still the center of attention, the book is a source of learning is also not yet fully available so that the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta still encountered obstacles in the implementation.
