Abstract

Solid waste is comprising organic materials and inorganic materials that are deemed to be useless and must be managed. The government is the part that can determine the decision for processing waste problems exist. Urbanization factors that hit most cities in Indonesia also hit Boyolali which also affected the waste generation. This led to many complaints in the District Office of the Environment Boyolali related to the needs of waste station (temporary dumping). Currently in Boyolali there are 62 polling stations spread in the sub-district Boyolali and part of Mojosongo district. The large number of waste station certainly not too positive, the article makes the operational costs of TPS is increasing. In addition, the other 17 sub-districts actually need waste-related services, but the government's inadequate response to the community throws garbage away and creates a landfill. To help solve the problem, it is proposed to make official disposal and how later the waste volume will be allocated towards each final disposal. Using the P-median method which is the method of allocation location that can determine the decision based on minimizing the average distance between the waste station to the final disposal. Based on the result of this method, the result is a binary number (1.0) decision to allocate the volume of garbage in Boyolali district to one of the final dumps in Boyolali which is 5 correctly.
